Our E36 Transmission Tunnel Heat Shield and Sound Deadening Upgrade Kit solves these common problems with the factory insulation. Made from DEI (Design Engineering Inc) Floor and Tunnel Shield II, this high quality material blocks radiant heat from entering the drivers compartment, serves as a barrier to unwanted road, tire, & engine noise, and withstands direct high heat temperatures up to 1750 degrees Fahrenheit. Constructed from 10 mil aluminum bonded to a finely woven layer of high temperature resistant glass fiber. Improve cabin comfort by using this kit!

Installation is made easy by following the guide lines on the shields as pictured. Dotted lines indicate a fold and solid lines indicate a cut. Cutting the solid lines may or may not be necessary depending on installation. Be sure to wear porper safety equipment when installing. Remove any dirt, wax, oil, grease, etc. before installation to insure proper adhesion.

Minor blemishes may be present on material from fabrication.
