If you are looking for extra luggage area on your Ural the Trunk Lid Luggage Rack is a great option. Straight bolt on installations uses the existing holes on the trunk lid and trunk hinges, and comes with all necessary hardware for installation. Great option for all Urals with no spare wheel set up.

I opted for this rack in lieu of the spare tire and basket rack. The spare tire weighs a ton and would not fit the front wheel, and makes the rig high in the rear, especially with my Redverz tent on board. The trunk lid is now very light and easy to open. The rack is beautifully made, fits perfectly, and finished flawlessley.

Rack works well. Solid with good finish. Installation could have been easier if the upper mounting bolts were longer. In addition to passing through the trunk, the bolts must also pass through the brackets which secure the trunk, and they are too short to allow the lock nuts provided to engage the bolts completely. Luckily, I had additional bolts on hand to remedy the problem.

No sealing devices were included, so, hopefully no water will enter with rain or wash.
