Modificación del pestillo:

Este bidón de combustible de grado militar está fabricado con una estructura de acero, hecho para durar. Cada bidón de combustible presenta una tapa resistente tipo pestillo y tiene una capacidad de combustible de 10 litros. Calidad substancial. Pitorro de combustible disponible por separado. El bidón de combustible se puede instalar en el lado izquierdo o derecho de la parte delantera del sidecar, así como en la parte trasera izquierda del sidecar.

Nota: El bidón de combustible también se puede instalar en la parte trasera derecha, entre el sidecar y el guardabarros del sidecar, con una ligera modificación del pestillo y el gancho para que no estorbe la luz de freno y el guardabarros. Podemos realizar esta modificación antes del envío seleccionando la opción "Modificación del pestillo". Consulte las fotos adicionales y el video detallado para obtener más información.

pricy but worth the money !

Extremely well made fuel container with an excellent secure mounting bracket and leak proof fuel spout. Very convenient size being 10 liters {2.5 gallons} vs 20 liters or five gallons. Much easier to pick up and pour but enough fuel to get out of trouble. The coating on everything is perfect.

Second Fuel Can

Out in the west, gas stations can be few and far between. Traveling though the middle of Nevada last year, I really thought I was going to run out of gas. The extra gas can should prevent that and allow me to go exploring the desert now that it is warming up.

Great product!
Just the rugged style needed to accent the rig.
I made 4 custom stand-offs from 1" round black acetal of various lengths to bolt the flat canister frame to the curved tub. Worked great!

We put a rubber gasket between the can mount and the sidecar.

For the peace of mind

Nice to have a few liters as a backup. As far as the installation goes, you putting a square frame on a curved surface ( left rear of sidecar ) so it can be a little challenging but easy does it. It would help a lot if the bolts were, lets say, a 1/4 of an inch longer.

Great Peace of Mind

I bought this unit and added it to the left rear of my tub. It looks good, is functional, and gives me a peace of mind when I am off riding in 'never-never-land', Texas. Me only problem is a dent developed in the corner where I swing my foot over the bike.
