Hasta 2014, todos los Urales usaban amortiguadores de dirección mecánicos. Si bien es una característica eficaz, no funciona tan bien como un amortiguador hidráulico. El conductor verá beneficios tanto en carretera como fuera de ella, ya que el amortiguador hidráulico compensa automáticamente cualquier cambio en las condiciones de conducción, a diferencia de un amortiguador mecánico que debe ajustarse manualmente según las condiciones de conducción. En 2018, Ural dio un paso más y actualizó a un amortiguador hidráulico "Bitubo" de mayor calidad, con un diseño mejorado, material de alta calidad, más fuerte y un amortiguador de dirección más duradero.

Este kit incluye todo el hardware necesario e instrucciones de instalación detalladas para actualizar su Ural a la configuración hidráulica moderna. Elija entre el amortiguador económico o el amortiguador OEM Bitubo de alta calidad. Alternativamente, si ya tiene un amortiguador hidráulico y desea adaptar su motocicleta anterior a 2014, puede comprar solo el hardware.

Steering Made Easy

What a difference this hydraulic steering damper makes on my 2006 Ural Patrol. The steering is 100% easier and makes the ride a lot more comfortable and less wobble. No instructions were enclosed, but I was able to find instruction on youtube. I highly recommend this product.

Steering Damper Helped My Ural

When I read that the 2014 Urals had a hydraulic steering damper, I had to get one. My 2009 Sahara Edition has knobby tires and I like the look but found the handling to be a bit "loose" at higher speeds. The damper solved that. I kept the friction damper also and have it adjusted just right for my comfort. Quality of the damper is high and I am happy. No instructions was a surprise, but I found detailed fitting on the web.

Finally a Modern Steering Damper

It was great to see this modern damper available so quickly to the pre-2014 crowd. The only problem I had was the instructions didn't come with it (even after I asked for them) and I had to go on-line and find directions from someone who had already installed one.
